Sinterpack will represent innovation at HISPACK through collaborative robotics. Under the slogan “tradition of innovation”, we launched our first collaborative palletizing cell (CCPS). A machine, with which the company from Burgos aims to revolutionize the industrial robotics sector, being able to work alongside people without the need for a perimeter fence.
They will be on display in Hall 3, Stand D-461, at HISPACK, Spain’s most important international packaging and packaging trade fair, to be held from May 8 to 11 in Barcelona. A show with more than 750 exhibitors from 24 different countries, where the life cycle of packaging and its connections with the process and logistics can be seen. 39,000 m2 of exhibition space where 500 brands from the sector will present their latest products.
Robots are a key element of Industry 4.0, they provide answers, with new production methods, to the main questions of our times.
Collaborative robots represent a new era in industrial robotics. They are light, flexible and easy to install; but their main virtue is that they are suitable for working with people, as they have integrated safety as their own functionality. Cooperate with the operator to let him perform the tasks he performs best avoiding dangerous, dirty or noisy jobs. Features that represent a breakthrough in improving competitiveness.
Despite its short life, the model proposed by Sinterpack has already been awarded the FAE innovation award 2017 and the company is already working on the development of new collaborative case packing systems. This time using a claw similar to that of its big brother, but with the UR-5 robot, which is smaller and has a lower load capacity.
But as a manufacturer of automatic end-of-line systems, Sinterpack does not limit itself to collaborative robotics, but complements it with the industrial systems on which it has more than 50 years of experience.
